20 And of the Levites, Ahiah, over the treasuries of the temple of God and the treasuries of the holy things. 21 Sons of Laadan, sons of the Gershonite: to Laadan, heads of the fathers of Laadan the Gershonite: Jehieli. 22 The sons of Jehieli—Zetham and his brother Joel—were over the treasuries of the temple of the LORD. 23 to the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites. 24 Shubael son of Gershom son of Moses was ruler over the treasuries. 25 His relatives from Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, Isaiah his son, Joram his son, Zechariah his son, and Shelomith his son. 26 Shelomith and his brothers were in charge of all the treasuries of the dedicated things that King David had consecrated, as well as the heads of the fathers' houses appointed to the commanders of thousands and hundreds and to the commanders of the army. 27 From the wars and from the spoil they consecrated things to strengthen the house of the LORD. 28 All the dedicated things of Shemuel the Seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah—all the dedicated things by the hand of Shelomith and his brothers. 29 Of the Izharites belonged Kenaniah and his sons for the work of the outer court over Israel, for the quota-masters and for the judges. 30 Of the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his brothers, sons of might—a thousand and seven hundred—over the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the work of the LORD and for the service of the king. 31 To the Hebronites belonged Jeriah the head, to the Hebronites according to his generations to the fathers. In the fortieth year of the kingdom of David they were sought, and he found among them mighty men of might in Jair of Gilead. 32 And his brothers, sons of valor, two thousand and seven hundred, heads of the fathers—and David the king appointed them over the Reubenite and the Gadite and the half tribe of Manasseh for every matter of God and matter of the king.
